Welcome to our website Trimming Rose bushes EMAIL VirtualeMedia How To Page Link to a Friend Click Here! Roses are actually quite easy to care for. The main thing is not to let the plant grow tall or elongated. Keep in mind that each time your rose bush grows a new rose, it is because of the growth of a new limb. So, to create more roses, you want to coax the plant into making new limbs, and therefore, new roses for you. Once a rose has died or been cut, most or all of that particular branch should be cut. Look down the branch until you see the first five leaf cluster. Cut just above the cluster and above any new sprout that will be just above the leaf cluster. Remove any dead or useless (elongated with no rose buds) limbs. To protect from outside infection, pour wax over the open cut area on the live plant.
