Palm One and Palm Source 

  As a solution for the Unix user, PalmSource has a code band-aid available now. By placing the Palmsource OS on top of Unix it is believed that

a solution has been reached. It sounds more like a government style solution to be honest. Maybe this will be a successful band-aid, but I have a few 

beones to pick. By beones, I mean BEOS as in Be Inc., Palm (prior to the 1 for 20 reverse split) bought BEOS back in the fall of 2000, including the

team of engineers required to upgrade and maintain BEOS. Where is BEOS? I think it was murdered and is somewhere under the floorboards at Palm

headquarters. Instead of the already available solution, Palmsource thought it best to purchase yet another company, China Mobilesoft, for rights to the 

band-aid. Management is as management does.
