OUR DRESSING RECIPE

Grandmother's recipe

1 pkg cornbread mix (used Martha White)

3 slices of bread

4 eggs

1 tsp. garlic salt

1 tsp. onion salt

1 can of cream of chicken soup

1 can chicken broth

3/4 stick of margarine

 

Cook cornbread using instructions of package. Crumble up 3 slices of bread and cornbread.

In a separate bowl,  Beat eggs. Add chicken broth, cream of chicken soup and margarine.

Mix all together with bread crumbs. Add garlic and onion salt. If not soupy, then add milk.

Cook at 450 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.
